US Rules (American Kickboxing / Full Contact)

All techniques must be thrown above the waist. (No sweeps allowed.)

The only legal weapons are the fist and back-fist of the glove, the top, bottom and heel of the foot, and the shin.

The only legal targets are the front and sides of the body and head (including under the chin).

Holding and Hitting and Neck Wrestling are NOT allowed
-
Full Length Kickboxing Pants are REQUIRED.

The athlete AND THEIR STAFF may not wear any garment that displays profanity or other offensive material. Doing so will constitute a unifor violation.

Uniform Violations may be penalized by the violating athlete being declared the looser by forfeit, or by point deductio. IN the event officials decide a point deduction is in order. The minimum point deduction shall be 1 full point deduction in the first round for amateur bouts (2 points for amateur titles bouts) and 2 full points deductions in the first round for professional bouts (3 points in title events).

All Amateur Contestants and Femail Professionals MUST wear Tee-Shirts or Tank Tops, professional male athletes will compete shirtless.

The referee anf the PKO official have complete descretion and may access any penalty deened appropriate for rules violations and unsportsmanlike conduct INCLUDING Professional PURSE Forfeture.

Amateur competitors must throw 7 HARD kicks per round. (8 Hard Kicks in Amateur Title Fights)

Professional competitors must throw 8 HARD kicks per round. (9 Hard Kicks in Professional Title Fights, 10 in Professional Intercontental and World Title Fights)

Failure to make Kicks in a single round will be cuase for a 1 point deductions.

Failure to make Kicks in two consecutive rounds will constitie a loss by TKO.

Miss Kicks may not be "made up" EXCEPT in World or Intercontenental Professional Title Matches.
International Kickboxing

Kicks to the INSIDE and OUTSIDE of the legs (above but not TO the knee) are permitted.

Sweeps ARE permitted.

NO Knees or Elbows are permitted.

Amateurs must wear Headgear, Shin Pads, and Foot Pads.

Professionals must not wear Headgear, Shin Pads, and Foot Pads.

Kickboxing SHORTS are Required.

All other Full Contact Rules Apply.
Muay Thai Boxing

Knees are permitted to the Body and Face, but not the back of the head or neck.

Horizontal Ebows are permitted to the Body and Face, but not the back of the head or neck.

Vertical Elbow (Spiking, Jumping and Rising Elbows are NOT Permotted.

NO Kicks to the FRONT of the knee are permitted.
-
NO throws, trips, takedowns, or other intentional grounding of your opponent will be permitted.

Clinch Fighting and Neck Westling are permitted. Innactive clinch fighting will be restarted at the descretion of the referee. Clinch fighting may not include lifting the opponent off the ring floor.

Plowing is permitted. Fighters are allowed to catch their opponents leg and take 1 step forward. After 1 step, the fighter holding the leg must string before taking a second step release the opponent's leg! A fighter mat not hold a leg and charge their opponent. A fighter may "dump" an opponent by catching their leg or knee and executig a "throw back" causing them to fall backwards. This must be done within 2 steps.

Making ANY intentional contact with a downed opponent (including falling ON your fallen opponent) is strictly forbided.

All Fighters are ENCOURAGED to perform the Wai Kru Ritual
San Shou / San Da

All types of Judo and Olympic Wrestling throws are legal.

Fighters will have 5 seconds after clinch to execute a takedown, throw or sweep.

The bout may take place on either a padded platform with no ropes or in a boxing ring with ropes.

All other International Kickboxing Rules Apply.
Semi Contact

Semi-Contact Utilizes all "Full Contact Rules.

Semi-Contact Shall be defined as "LIGHT TOUCH" to a legal target area.

ALL contact deened greater than "LIGHT TOUCH" by the Referee or PKF official shall be penalized NO WARNINGS for excessive contact will be given..

All Semi-Contact competitors (Pro and Amateur) will comply with AMATEUR Full-Contact Equipment and Uniform Rules.
